Where were you born?
I was born in Kent County, Rhode Island
What is your current occupation and/or grade in school?
I am a senior at Coventry High School where I plan to graduate.
What are some of your favorite hobbies?
Some of my favorite hobbies include snowboarding, playing the piano, All-Star cheerleading, and drawing.
What is your favorite family holiday? Why?
My favorite family holiday is Thanksgiving because it is one of the few times a year that I get to see my entire family. Christmas is a close second, but the food can't compare to what I get to eat on Thanksgiving.
What is your favorite thing about your state?
My favorite thing about my state is the diversity of the surroundings it has to offer. If I want a nautical, beach-surrounded, island type feel I can take a trip down to Newport. If I'm feeling a busy-city type experience, I'll go to Providence for great food (and shopping)! If I'm looking for a relaxing country-type feel I can simply stay in my home town or go somewhere more remote.
If you could live anywhere else in the world where would it be?
If I could live anywhere else in the world, I would move up a few states to New Hampshire. It is a quiet, beautiful state, and my favorite thing to do is snowboard. I love that New Hampshire is surrounded by mountains, so during snow season I would constantly be able to board.
What do you expect to gain by participating in pageants? Why?
Pageantry has given me confidence, poise, and public speaking skills. It has driven me with a desire to help other people selflessly. Pageantry unites me with wonderful contestants competing for the same goal as myself and demonstrates teamwork and determination from each of the contestants. Also, it has allowed me to succeed in my interviews for the crown, and interviews for a job and school-related matter. There are so many personal gains to pageantry that I can't narrow it down to one single beneficial aspect of it, and I believe that pageants have positively affected my life.
