Where were you born?

In a small country hospital in Humboldt, Tennessee.

What is your current occupation?
I do volunteer work and help young girls who are beginning pageantry. I want each of my girls to know they are beautiful inside and out and that no matter what they would like to achieve, with hard work and a positive attitude, all their dreams can come true.

Where do you go to school?
I am currently a sophomore at Milan High School, maintaining a 4.0 GPA.

What are some of your favorite hobbies?
My extracurricular activities have been numerous, enriching, and quite diverse. I am the Milan High School Football Manager and AthleticTrainer which has groomed me into a more responsible, dedicated, mature, and competitive person. I also play soccer, as a female on my high school men’s team; playing on an all-male team has taught me strength, self-control, and discipline. I am a six time graduate of the Tennessee National Guard Youth Boot camp, serving my last year as a Junior Drill Instructor, where I led my platoon in Drill and Ceremony, being awarded the highest honors of all competitors. I received the "Lion Heart Award" for leadership, compassion, knowledge and achievement. What I enjoyed the most from my years as a boot camp participant has been the patriotism, history and love for my country it has instilled in me. I am also a three time graduate of the NASA Space Academy, being selected by the top administrators to receive the distinguished "Right Stuff Award" for my leadership, positive attitude and motivation of my fellow cadets. As Mission Commander I was able, with help of my crew, to successfully maneuver our simulated space mission without incident. My time at NASA has been a dream come true and has been some of the most exciting and educationally enriching times of my life.

What is your favorite family holiday? Why?
Christmas, my family has so many priceless traditions including: baking Jesus a birthday cake together, Elf on the Shelf, and Scavenger Hunts.

What is your favorite thing about your state?
I love Tennessee, it is enriched in culture and music, from Memphis' Rhythm and Blues, Elvis, Carl Perkins, to Nashville the Home of Country Music. Tennessee is a beautiful state from the flat plains of the west to the towering Smoky Mountains in the East. We also have St. Jude's Cancer Research Hospital, the Tennessee Titans NFL Football Team, the Nashville Predators NHL Hockey Team, and let's not forget our Memphis Grizzles NBA Basketball team. There is ALWAYS something to do in Tennessee.

What charities do you like working with the most?
I volunteer with TN Blue and the Tennessee Coalition to End Domestic and Sexual Violence, where I participated in a documentary that was sent to middle schools nationwide to educate adolescents on Teen Dating Violence. I also volunteer with Birth Choice Medical Center; it is a pro-life pregnancy care center that provides free assistance to women facing an unplanned pregnancy. As part of my National Platform, I also volunteer with CONKERR CANCER, a non-profit organization that brightens the hospital rooms of children in the hospital with severe illnesses, by taking the favorite things of those children and designing pillow cases specifically for them during their stay.

If you could live anywhere else in the world where
would it be?

I would enjoy living in Florida, because that would mean my dreams have finally come true and I would be working with NASA at the Kennedy Space Center as an Aeronautical Engineer/Astronaut.

What do you expect to gain by participating in pageants? Why?
Pageants have taught me poise, physical fitness, academic excellence, and public speaking. My wonderful pageant sisters, directors, and my whole pageant family, have been one of the most valuable and sincerely best parts of pageantry. They have been my extended family, my cheering section, my motivators, my prayer warriors, and for that I will always love pageantry and what it stands for.

What are your plans after the pageant?
I have already gained so much from being a titleholder. I hope to continue to grow, mature and evolve into a strong and independent young woman, who never forgets the grace and poise she was taught as a young girl. I plan to continue in my schooling, maintaining my 4.0 GPA. I plan to attend Harvard University for my undergraduate and continue my studies until I reach my doctorate, graduating with honors, in order to pursue my dream of being an Astronaut/Aeronautical Engineer for NASA. I would love to journey to Mars one day and look back and tell the world, pageantry played a huge part in my success.
